Promotional speakers for branded giveaways and corporate gifting

This range exists for one purpose: putting a brand in someone's hands in a form they keep. A speaker is more persuasive than most promotional items because it has ongoing utility, and the shaped shells in this range make the object memorable in a way a plain branded box cannot. The catalogue includes bottle, can, cup, dice, animal and household-object shapes, all built on standard internal platforms.

Why shaped speakers work as promotional items

The shape carries the message. A beer can speaker, a cola bottle speaker or an ice cream cup speaker is immediately recognisable, photographable and likely to be kept on a desk or shelf rather than thrown away after an event. Because most of these shells are existing moulds, there is no tooling cost and the lead time stays short, which matters when a campaign has a fixed launch date.

Specification expectations in this range

Audio performance is deliberately secondary here. Most units run a small driver at 3W or less with a compact cell, and are intended for casual listening rather than critical use. When comparing quotes, the specifications that actually affect perceived quality are the battery capacity, whether the unit supports TF card playback, whether it includes an FM tuner, and whether the housing feels solid in the hand. A slightly larger cell often improves the customer's impression more than a higher wattage claim.

Customisation: what is realistic

Logo application

Silk-screen printing suits flat or gently curved surfaces and works well for one to three spot colours. Pad printing handles small curved areas. UV printing supports full-colour artwork and gradients, including on shaped shells. Laser etching is used on metal surfaces and gives a permanent mark. The printable area on a shaped product is smaller than buyers often expect, so detailed logos frequently need simplification before they reproduce cleanly.

Colour and material

Where the shell is moulded in a specific resin, a colour change means a production run in that colour. Where the shell is painted, a wider palette is available but the finish is more sensitive to abrasion. Both routes affect lead time, so colour decisions should be made before the production slot is booked rather than after.

Packaging

For corporate gifting, packaging often decides the perceived value more than the product itself. A printed gift box, a window box or a sleeve with the campaign artwork turns a low-cost speaker into a presentable item. Manuals and inserts can be printed in the buyer's language.

Order planning

Promotional orders are usually driven by a fixed event date, which makes the working-backwards calculation important. Artwork approval, pre-production sample, mass production and shipping each consume time, and the sample stage is where most delays originate. Confirming logo placement and colour on a physical sample before mass production avoids the most expensive category of mistake: a correctly manufactured product with the wrong branding.

Artwork files and print restrictions

Promotional buyers should send vector artwork rather than a screenshot or a low-resolution logo, because screen and pad printing rely on clean edges and a single spot colour per pass. Where the artwork uses gradients or photographic elements, UV printing is the appropriate process, but it costs more per unit and needs a higher volume to justify the setup. Small text below roughly six points usually fills in on a curved shell, so fine print should be moved to the packaging instead of the product. Confirming the printable area on a shaped model before finalising the design avoids the most common rework request in this category.

Choosing the right model

Match the shape to the audience rather than to the specification sheet. Drinks brands gravitate to can and bottle shapes; food brands to cup and dessert shapes; technology companies to cube and geometric forms. Where the buyer needs a neutral canvas for a strong logo, the plain housings in the mini speaker range work better than a distinctive shape that competes with the branding. Where the item will be used outdoors, check the outdoor range for mounting options.
